Acoustic, Electric, Rock, Blues, Jazz, Reggae, Funk, Soca, Calypso, Afro-Cuban, South American & "Californian" Guitar Styles.

While this website is a bit rough right now, I'm fully qualified to instruct guitar from beginning to quite an advanced level in a multitude of styles.

I'm really planning on expanding this site much further than one would guess from just taking a quick look around. Other than being a guitar teacher, I also specialize in audio engineering, production, web development (digital marketing/e-commerce), and a variety of 3 letter business acronyms that might not mean much to you, but are incredibly useful to know if you have any interest in "DIY" music.

Right now I'm offering an introductory special of $50/hr for In-Home lessons in the Orange County California area. In the future I'm going to be adding more "perks" and "add-ins", primarily an included website, hosting and production services as well as some fundamental business tools for independent musicians and bands to help you not get ripped off in the world of music business (or any business for that matter).

Hello World... (I'll explain that at some point)

Of course I can teach the fundamentals of music theory as well as stylistic idiomatic "licks" or "tricks", but I really think much of the time some things we do in music are presented in a much more complicated way than they need to be. I'll be adding content to this site as quickly as I can, and soon I'll have music, tablature, videos and such...

What makes me qualified to teach guitar?

Well... I'll expand on this elsewhere but for one thing I've certainly taken enough guitar lessons in my life (I haven't decided if, when, or how I may or may not name drop... I've studied with a lot of great teachers from a variety of backgrounds).

Actually I first began playing classical violin at age 9 but eventually began a shift to guitar around the age of 16-17. I did the 13 year college plan (primarily at Fullerton College and spent the last 4 at USC as a Studio Guitar/Music Recording double major while working as a gigging musician in a variety of bands and running a small recording studio as well). I fully believe that one of the best tools for learning music performance of any kind is recording yourself, and these days that's easier and more accessible than ever... and is an instruction technique I plan to incorporate as often as possible.

I kind of got distracted off into the design/manufacturing area of things for a bit and lost touch with a lot of people from the past that I'd like to get back in contact with.

You can reach me a variety of ways... (If you're someone I know from ages ago, drop me a line as well).
